Wish List Items for Rabbits

Because rabbits can often become easily bored in their cages, providing them with toys that can be tossed around, chewed upon and dug into provides them with much needed physical and mental stimulation. The rule of thumb for purchasing toys for rabbits is that the plastic must be hard. If you can crush a plastic toy with your hand, a rabbit can crush it with its teeth and it is not a safe toy for the rabbit. Donated items can be brought to adoption events or by calling Friends of Unwanted Rabbits (F.U.R.) at 916‐710‐0105 or via email at teamfur@gmail.com to make arrangements or for more information about rabbit toys or how to make a donation. Donated items will also be provided to rabbits that are housed at the Sacramento County Animal Shelter.
