Microchipping

What it is:

  • A microchip is a tiny RFID device implanted under your pet’s skin.
  • It stores a unique ID number, linking your contact info in a searchable database.
  • Does not transmit location, not GPS.

Does it hurt?

  • Similar to a vaccine injection—quick and minimal discomfort.

Registering & Updating:

Why microchip?

  • Reunites lost pets with their owners quickly.
  • Helps reduce the number of pets that never return home
