Microchipping
What it is:
- A microchip is a tiny RFID device implanted under your pet’s skin.
- It stores a unique ID number, linking your contact info in a searchable database.
- Does not transmit location, not GPS.
Does it hurt?
- Similar to a vaccine injection—quick and minimal discomfort.
Registering & Updating:
- Bradshaw Shelter pets may be registered in the Michelson Found Animal Registry
- VIP Petcare microchips can be managed at VIPPetcare.com
Why microchip?
- Reunites lost pets with their owners quickly.
- Helps reduce the number of pets that never return home
